Founded in 1986, the Association of European Rail Agents (AERA) was formed in response to rising interest and growth in train travel. Its goal is to bring together Rail Travel Agents, Rail Tour Operators, and Rail Companies to promote and sell rail products worldwide.
We collectively organize and market offerings for both leisure and business travellers.
Our members possess deep knowledge of train travel and global rail networks, and are dedicated to creating a safe, improved environment for travellers. We seek to increase train journey numbers not only because AERA members genuinely love rail travel, but also due to its sustainability and the unique opportunity it offers to enjoy scenery up close—enhancing the overall travel experience.
